Killer Bill: Starring Uma Heron, and her Detachable Bill of Death!

There are over 80 nesting pairs of Great Blue Herons living at a lake near my house. I see them often, when biking, and always assumed they where strictly fish eaters. One day I stopped at a viewing-blind to read the sign – it turns out they use their long, springy necks to whip their beaks, into their prey, like a harpoon, and will eat almost anything they can kill/swallow – other birds, and even small mammals! I figured this info would come in handy someday for a cartoon... and it did!

With Uma's bird-like features, and the word: "Bill" in the title, I thought it would be perfect for this week's Art Jumble topic... plus birds are about my favorite thing to draw.
